How to resolve overlapping date labels in Pie and Doughnut Charts?
In some cases, when having a lot of small slices or large labels on your Pie Charts, the date labels are usually overlapping. There are a number of possible options you can try to resolve the label overlapping like decreasing the font size, or increasing the size of your chart to allow more room for the labels. Nevron Pie Chart provides different pie label modes to work with: Center, Rim, Spider and Spider No Overlap.
Nevron Pie Chart Non-Overlapping Labels mode solve the labels overlapping issue, caused by small pie segments or in cases where there are many pie slices - the Spider Non-Overlapping labels mode is similar to the Spider mode, however the pie chart labels are automatically positioned in a manner that doesn't allow them to overlap with each other.
To enable Pie Chart Spider No Overlapping labels, use the following code:
[C#]
NPieChart chart =
new
NPieChart();
nChartControl1.Charts.Clear();
nChartControl1.Charts.Add(chart);
NPieSeries pie = (NPieSeries)chart.Series.Add(SeriesType.Pie);
pie.LabelMode = PieLabelMode.SpiderNoOverlap;
[VB.NET]
Dim
chart
As
New
NPieChart()
NChartControl1.Charts.Clear()
NChartControl1.Charts.Add(chart)
Dim
pie
As
NPieSeries =
DirectCast
(chart.Series.Add(SeriesType.Pie), NPieSeries)
pie.LabelMode = PieLabelMode.SpiderNoOverlap
